CPI report: June 2022

Consumer prices rose 9.1% in the 12 months through June 2022, up from 8.6% in May. Core inflation, which excludes food and energy, ran 5.9%. The CPI-U index stood at 296.311, a 1.4% change from the prior month (not seasonally adjusted).
