CPI report: February 2023

Consumer prices rose 6.0% in the 12 months through February 2023, down from 6.4% in January. Core inflation, which excludes food and energy, ran 5.5%. The CPI-U index stood at 300.84, a 0.6% change from the prior month (not seasonally adjusted).
